Harvard has been killing it with all these viral videos! First they had a hit video with Harvard answering questions about what they think Canada’s capital is and then with their fake Yale tour guide video. Now Harvard has stepped it up one more notch with their Medical School students asking “What Does The Spleen Do?” as their “What Does The Fox Say?” Ylvis parody.
I’m wondering how a bunch of medical school students from Harvard found the time to write and record this song and then produce, edit and direct the music video for it. Nevertheless, it’s still a pretty awesome parody.
Side-note, when the Ylvis music video first came out I suggested to BPC that we do a parody video of it. Never ended up happening and Harvard beat us to it!

Btw, via WebMD I found out, SPOILER ALERT, what the spleen does:
The spleen plays multiple supporting roles in the body. It acts as a filter for blood as part of the immune system. Old red blood cells are recycled in the spleen, and platelets and white blood cells are stored there. The spleen also helps fight certain kinds of bacteria that cause pneumonia and meningitis.
